The Embraced Forms kit converts the crib to its open configurations while retaining the coordinated design. It is sold separately: select the kit for model CR011CHN and follow the instructions for the configuration you use.

Lower the mattress as your baby grows
Three positions let you lower the sleeping surface as your baby develops. Set the mattress support to its lowest position as soon as your child can pull up to stand.

Choose a mattress for Canadian use
Use a crib mattress measuring at least 69 × 131 cm and no more than 15 cm thick. When pushed firmly against one side, it must not leave a gap greater than 3 cm at any other side. Mattress and bedding are not included.
Different limits for each configuration
The Canadian section of the manual says to stop using crib mode when your child can climb out or is taller than 90 cm. Toddler bed mode is for children at least 15 months old; stop using it when your child reaches 22.7 kg (50 lb). The 50 lb limit does not extend the permitted use of crib mode.
Assembly and matching furniture
Assembly is required. The matching CG009CHN dresser and CG017CHN changing topper are sold separately. Walnut is the Canadian finish name; the crib itself is made of solid pine.
Keep the crib away from blind and curtain cords. Do not add a pillow or comforter to the crib; the manual warns that soft bedding poses a suffocation risk.
