Description
With or without a back, ready for the vehicle belt.
The Maxi-Cosi RodiSport is for a child who has outgrown their forward-facing harnessed seat and is ready to sit correctly with the vehicle’s lap-and-shoulder belt. Its removable back provides two configurations, while belt guides help position the belt.
At a glance
- 2 modes: high-back and backless
- 7 positions: adjustable headrest
- 40–100 lb: 18–45 kg weight range
A back that adjusts as your child grows
The headrest adjusts to seven positions in high-back mode. The shoulder belt guides help place the belt across the centre of the shoulder. The back can be removed when your child and vehicle meet the manual’s requirements for backless use.

Rigid connectors, with the vehicle belt doing its job
Rigid LATCH connectors secure the booster; they never replace the vehicle’s lap-and-shoulder belt that restrains the child. The manual also permits use without LATCH when the required conditions are met. A lap-only belt is not suitable.

Frequently asked questions
Does it have a harness?
No. The child uses the vehicle’s lap-and-shoulder belt in both modes. They must be able to maintain the correct seated position throughout the trip.
Can the back recline for sleeping?
The back angle adjustment only helps the booster sit correctly against the vehicle seatback. It is not a resting position.
Are LATCH connectors mandatory?
The manual allows installation with or without the rigid connectors, depending on the vehicle. The lap-and-shoulder belt is always required to restrain the child.
How should the belt fit?
The lap belt should sit low on the hips and the shoulder belt across the centre of the shoulder. Check the head-support requirements for the selected mode in the manual.
How many cup holders are included?
One removable cup holder, which can be fitted on either side.
